New CD
Earthwalks
by Craig Keyes
"A mind-blowing shamanic initiation blending techno and tribal, earthy and ethereal in splendid proportion. Listen to this on headphones!" - PJ Birosic, NAV/CDNOW syndicated writer

This phenomenal debut recording was born out of the ashes of ceremonial transformation; a powerful musical collaboration, each tune - instrumental or lyrical - speaks to the very essence of the primal soul. Singer/songwriter Craig Keyes uses both tribal and techno rhythms to connect the heartfelt melodies of this album, bringing together the musical spirit and essence of the project with the help of a host of musical talents. Overseen and inspired by the shamanic work of James Warren Flaming Eagle Mooney, the luxuriously layered music enlightens the listener to a blend of rich and exotic trance-like melodies that blend guitars, powerful vocals and enigmatic sounds that one can feel as well as hear.

"I was asked to record this cd by a Native American shaman who I met during a medicine ceremony," says Craig Keyes. "He explained to me that he saw me doing music and asked if I were a musician... He told me he had a dream of me recording a CD that would tell the world about my personal transformation and move them musically..." Born and still residing in Ogden, Utah, Craig Keyes has traveled extensively throughout Canada, Europe and Malaysia. A guitarist with a down-to-earth style that compares with Neil Young and John Fogerty, Keyes has the ability to compose richly textured intricate rhythms on a par with Peter Gabriel and Vas, juxtaposing these two extremes into a completely connected musical tapestry ripe with emotive melodies and exotic influences.

New CD
Mot'a Bobe by Henri Dikongue

"Mot'A Bobe: is a plethora of different musical styles, including a bit of Eastern Europe (an old Russian accordion was used in part of these recordings), a bit of French classical, a little taste of American blues and jazz, and a dose of reggae, bossa-nova and Latin spices, all over a solid Afrundation. This album illustrates Dikongue's evolution as an artist and affirms his maturity as a skilled composer and songwriter. A law student turned singer / songwriter, Dikongue doesn't regret choosing music as a career. "When I made this decision I didn't look back, because I can be versatile you know, maybe one day I'll decide to do both law and music. But for now music is all I want to do." The music is fresh, and the album opens up a whole new universe for Henri Dikongue.

Hailed as a bold, visionary creator of hot world beat hybrids, Henri has won millions of fans - as well as the hearts of many hard-to-impress international music journalists - with his unique blend of flowing melodies, tight rhythms and sharp lyrics. Henri was born in Cameroon's capital city of Yaoundle and developed a love of intricate harmonies while singing with an Anglican church choir. He sings in his native language of Douala and he writes his songs in French, working with the help of a translator. Along with Cesaria Evora, Wasis Dop and fellow Cameroonian Sally Nyolo of Zap Mama, Henri Dikongue represents a new generation of African artists who prize intricate melodies and poetic lyrics rather than the more familiar makossa rhythm dance fare. His 1995 debut, WA, was immediately successful, but it was Henri's second outing - C'EST LA VIE - that landed him on top of the European charts as well as on many music critics and radio "Best of 1998-1999" lists. Tarot by Steve Hounsome and Kevin Kendle
A mystical and spiritual album inspired by the Tarot. Ideal background for Tarot reading or pure listening pleasure. The album has been created as a musical expression of the inner energy, power and force of the eleven cards it contains, that form the first half of the Major Arcana. It includes a full color guide to Tarot by Steve Hounsome and CD of music specially composed for New World Music by Kevin Kendle. "Alongside study of the cards, we have worked with the inner energies of the Tarot and in visualization to create the music. By accessing this inner aspect of the cards, it is our hope that this music offers a means to access the potential that exists within each card as it resonates with you at different times of your life. The album begins with the Fool, and continues consecutively through the first half of the Major Arcana to the Wheel of Fortune. The music therefore progresses through the stages of unfoldment of the human soul that the Fool personifies..."

Celebration of Life
by Ken Davis
"This album, for me, encompasses all of the musical skills I've developed since I began releasing albums in 1982; I hope it touches people as profoundly as it has affected me. Seeing the new millennium, while enjoying my dream of presenting my own music on my own label, made me very thankful; Celebration of Life is an expression of my zest to be alive, to be able to make music that really touches people in many ways. I hope this and all my recordings make listeners a little more aware of our fragile environment and how we must all strive to achieve a more harmonious lifestyle that encompasses all our current luxuries without harming the environment. We need to preserve and enhance what we have left with future generations before we've gone too far to undo the harm we have caused to the Earth. Every living thing on the planet has a right to enjoy life, and participate in the Celebration of Life." - Ken Davis

Born into a musical family in Worthing, Sussex, England, Ken later relocated to Australia after many years of enjoying the gypsy lifestyle of a professional musician in Europe and the United States. Ken has supported jazz legend Earl Klugh at the Red River Opera, solo'd at the Temple Arts and La Jolla arts festivals, appeared at the prestigious annual Festivale De Canne in the South of France, and logged hundreds of concerts in Sydney and other cities "down under." New CD
Journey with the Sun
by Paul Winter
and the Earth Band
Born of Winter's renowned Solstice celebrations in the world's largest Gothic cathedral New York's S. John the Divine - Journey with the Sun boasts a vibrant mood that flows into more contemplative, ambient spaces such as the elegant ballet for cello and pipes called "Pas de Deux," or the poignant elegy, "Last Oasis." Hart, on his new computer-linked percussion instrument RAMU, creates bouncy rhythms drawn from the sounds of African mbira, xylophone and sand drum on the dance piece, "Yabu," which finds Winter's sax riffing wonderfully as keyboards and percussion roll full steam ahead. An acoustic folk guitar intro leads into the striking melody "Singing to the Mountain," a splendid showcase for Tuncboyaciyan's dynamically limber vocal lines. The penetrating voice of the zurna (a double reed instrument from Armenia) ignites with Hart's hot grooves as the sounds of Paul Winter and the Earth Band resonate throughout the extraordinary acoustics of the Cathedral. These tunes will renew, refresh and reinvigorate your soul!

Award-winning saxophonist, bandleader, composer, explorer of the world's musical traditions and founder of Living Music, Paul Winter has been motivated for the past thirty years by the vision of a musical-ecological community, and has followed a steady course towards his unique 'Earth Music,' a celebration of the creatures and cultures of the whole earth. His musical realm has long embraced the traditions of many of the world cultures, interweaving widely diverse instruments and elements with the extraordinary voices from what he refers to as "the greater symphony of the Earth," including wolves, whales, eagles, and several dozen other species of 'wilderness musicians.'

Relationship Suite
by D. Richard Lewis
"Welcome to an autobiographical, musical landscape of my life - a piano opera and soundtrack for the Relationships Sweet that have made a difference in my feelings towards others, how I feel about myself and, therefore, my interrelationship with all of life. I am grateful to each one for deepening my relationship with myself and with God, to whom I wholeheartedly dedicate this CD. Thank you, Father, with all my being for using me to bring this music through; "Prayer" IS FOR YOU."

Known primarily throughout America as a visionary pianist and in-demand sideman, D.Richard Lewis also performs on trumpet, vocals and a variety of keyboards. Each note is well-articulated; every phrase precisely elegant yet simultaneously warm, resonant and incredibly expressive. Lewis' compositional style is about control and perception: being able to feel an emotion very deeply, but having the power to deal with such feelings in a productive way. This crossover classical-New Age music will appeal to anyone who has been touched by the power of Love.
